SINOPSIS \ SYNOPSIS

NERA: Journey to Mother Island is a wordless performance piece where dance is integrated with the manipulation of an 18-string puppet and various magical props, unfolding as a sensorial voyage.

The protagonist, Nera, sails on her boat towards the Mother Island to alert the Great Whale about the disappearance of the sea creatures and the loss of hope on Earth. The Great Whale safeguards the primordial song of origin, which can only be heard when human beings lose their humanity. Guided by golden fish and dolphins, Nera embarks on a dangerous arc of action. She will plunge into the deep sea, where the whale will aid her in recovering hope and the ability to collectively reconstruct what has been lost alongside her community.
